work to do

sometime this week, lumi made the transition from always wanting to be where we are to wanting to explore.  if we're in the living room, she heads to the kitchen to rifle through the drawers or snack on the cat food.  if we're in the kitchen, she heads toward the computers to pull on wires.  we've been really lazy about babyproofing the apartment thus far, but it's clear we have to do it now.
