we took the cats to the vet this morning just for a check up and to be registered with a vet in the event of some future emergency. i had found a vet who speaks english, and contacted them via email and phone. i was warned that without an appointment, we could wait up to 45 minutes. so we made an appointment for 8:30. we arrived at 8:25. we did not get into the office until 9:20. it was ridiculous and frustrating. and we had lumi with us because she was feverish last night, so that just added to the waiting annoyance.
fortunately, there was some free entertainment provided by the other patients. one family brought in a huge dog (maybe an irish wolfhound?) and lumi was excited and wanted to ride it. she kept saying "lumi ride horse!"
