it's victory day, so i have the day off work. today is the day to celebrate the victory of the allies in wwii.
lumi and i went to a couple of playgrounds this morning. on the slide, she wanted to hold my hand the first few times but then afterward she did it alone. and then she looked around and said quietly to no one "lumi all by self." i love it. she's proud of herself and it's not even about showing me or anyone.
